Here at Discovery Station Learning Center we strive to include the whole family in each child’s education and care. We understand that many of our families have two working parents and are on a very tight schedule, that is why we do everything we can to work with your schedule and offer many different opportunities for you to be involved with your child’s program.
Our center has an open door policy; we encourage all of our parents to visit at any time throughout the day. If you would like to swing by and have lunch with your child, or just pop-in and say “hi” we welcome you. We also offer many opportunities for parents to participate and assist with their child’s education. From chaperoning field trips, to donating snacks and materials for special occasions, there are many ways that you can become a part of your child’s early education. Our teachers also keep in touch with parents about their child’s progress not only though conversations at pick-up and drop off, but also through email. This allows those busy parents the flexibility of asking questions on their own time.
